Emma Trithart grew up in Michigan, but received her degree in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her favourite things in life are blankets, drawing flowers, drinking coffee and eating good cheese on a cracker with some pepper jam. Emma currently lives in Los Angeles.

Highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2011, Emma began her career as an author and illustrator whilst still studying Illustration at Falmouth University. She now paints, draws, collages, designs, doodles, splatters and sketches for a living from her studio at home in Falmouth, near Truro, and loves every minute of it! In her spare time Emma loves to eat jaffa cakes, craves pets and suppresses a desire to spend her entire income on colouring pencils.

Ella Bailey is a freelance illustrator currently living in Devon, in the UK. She specializes in children’s books having illustrated many board, novelty and picture books. Ella works mostly digitally and likes to incorporate lots of texture and limited, lively palettes into her artwork. Some of her favourite things to draw include children, animals and ghosts.
Ellie Patterson

Ellie lives in Brighton and has been penning children’s books since her early twenties (which is quite a long time ago). She works as a senior editor and loves to hang out in coffee shops, sipping oat milk cappuccinos and soaking up inspiration with her beloved mac laptop. Her dog Daisy, a goldendoodle, is usually to be found asleep at her feet. Ellie loves yoga, the sea, chocolate and train travel.
Ella Hobbis
After a career in digital marketing, Ella returned to her childhood passion of drawing and hasn't put her pencils down since. Her heart lies in creating art for children; she draws with passion, texture and tiny details to create memorable picture books that will inspire and delight young readers. Her illustrations may often appear simple, but always make sure to look out for the details she hides in them… a lot like life, there's always magic to be found somewhere.
Eric Huang
Eric Huang has always been fascinated by legends and lore. As a boy, he was determined to find real-life dragons, so he studied palaeontology at university. Reality didn’t live up to his Jurassic Park dreams, though, and he found himself working as secretary at Disney Publishing, launching a career in children’s books. Eric lives in London with his boyfriend Brian and cat McNulty. He’s a podcaster, writer, and lecturer at City University of London’s Masters in Publishing programme.
Diana Hendry
Diana Hendry is a poet, children’s author and short story writer. She has published over 30 children’s books ranging from picture books to teenage novels. Diana has worked as a journalist, teacher and creative tutor. She has two grown-up children and now lives in Edinburgh.
Ebony Joy Wilkins

Ebony is a journalist, author and editor living in New York City. Her debut novel,
SELLOUT
, is about an African American girl struggling to fit in with her community. Ebony’s non-fiction debut about NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson was published in January 2018 as part of the DK LIFE STORIES series.
Elizabeth Baguley
Elizabeth Baguley studied English Literature, before going on to train as a teacher. Elizabeth’s books for Little Tiger Press include Meggie Moon, which won the Swiss Labelle Prize 2008 and A Long Way From Home, which was shortlisted for the UKLA Children’s Book Award in the Picturebook category.
