Lisa Norton is the author of dozens of children’s books and one play. She lives in the West Sussex countryside, near a wonderful bluebell wood owned by the National Trust. She is also a keen wildlife gardener, although she draws the line at rabbits!

Lou Kuenzler was brought up on a remote farm on the edge of Dartmoor, where she enjoyed a childhood of sheep, ponies, chickens and dogs. She worked as a theatre director, university drama lecturer and workshop leader before turning her hand to writing stories and plays for children.

Originally from Mid Wales, Kate Ware designs, illustrates and occasionally writes children’s books from her studio in North Herefordshire, where she lives with her family. She loves gardening, cooking and going for walks with Pickle the pug. She also has a large array of chickens and 4 pet lambs called Cookie, Peggy, Rose and Simple.
