Karl Newson is a bestselling, multi-award-winning children’s book author. His stories have been translated into 30 languages around the world. Karl grew up in Norwich, England, and was inspired to write his first story when his children were small… he’s been writing stories ever since. When Karl isn’t writing, he enjoys listening to music and walking in the woods. Karl lives in London.

Kate Ware

Originally from Mid Wales, Kate Ware designs, illustrates and occasionally writes children’s books from her studio in North Herefordshire, where she lives with her family. She loves gardening, cooking and going for walks with Pickle the pug. She also has a large array of chickens and 4 pet lambs called Cookie, Peggy, Rose and Simple.

Jude Evans was born and raised in South Wales. Growing up, her favourite things were books, singing and exploring the countryside with the family dog. She’s worked as an editor, and then publisher, for over 25 years, helping create books for new generations of children to read. Her favourite things are still books, singing and exploring the countryside, especially in Gloucestershire where she now lives.

Júlia Moscardó

Júlia is an award winning artist and illustrator. She lives in the UK with her partner Joe (also an illustrator), her daughter and their fluffy cat. In 2017, she graduated from the MA in Children’s Book illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
