Gaby Hansen was born in South Africa where she attended the School of Art, Ballet, Drama and Music. She moved to London in 1998 and has illustrated several books for Little Tiger Press, including The Gift of Christmas, Ready for Bed and The Wish Cat, which was shortlisted for the Experian Big 3 Book Award 2003. Now living in the countryside in Sussex, she continues her love of art, drawing on the inspiration of the South Downs.

Gareth is an illustrator and designer living in his hometown in Essex, with his beloved wife and five children. After studying at Brighton and Central Saint Martins he has worked on a variety of projects, but enjoys children’s book illustration the most. When he is not working he can be heard indulging his other love – the banjo!
Francis Martin

Francis Martin is an illustrator and artist living out in the wilds of Pendle Witch Country, conjuring up pictures for stories by splodging ink and charcoal all over the place. He is a graduate of Cambridge School of Art’s MA in Children’s Book Illustration, who in another life did five BBC Radio 1 John Peel sessions. He loves dogs and travelling across the moors in trains.
Gabriela Gil

Gabriela Gil has worked as an art educator in museums, an illustration teacher and is currently an illustrator. In 2021 she was among the finalists for the 55th Illustrators Exhibition at Bologna Children’s Book Fair. On days off, she loves to take care of the plants, eat carrot cake and walk in the park with her dog Filó.

Gabriella Szendrey is a Hungarian illustrator, visual development artist and art director, living and working in Budapest (or hiking in a forest somewhere with her dog). She is fascinated by human connection, folktales, creatures, nature, reading tons of books and trying out way too many art supplies whenever possible.

Forrest Burdett
Forrest is a queer illustrator from New Jersey with an eye for whimsy, a heart full of magic, and a passion for vibrant colours. He studied Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology and now lives in Portland, Oregon. He loves finding magic in the small, everyday moments and uses his art as a means to explore and share them. He spends his days creating, reading, and eating an obscene amount of chocolate. Eve Wersocki Morris
Eve Wersocki Morris grew up in North London and has been making up stories her whole life. Diagnosed with dyslexia aged 12 and called out by a teacher as the ‘worst speller in the class’, she is now the author of two novels for older MG readers, with her debut <i>The Bird Singers</i> now nominated for multiple awards. A standout performer at school events thanks to a background in drama, Eve is also a volunteer with Coran Beanstalk Literary Charity.
