Emma Young

Emma Young is a writer and editor, specialising in children’s fiction. She is the main writer behind the GIRLS CAN VLOG series for tweens which has been translated into 14 languages. Emma lives in East Dulwich.

Faye Hsu

Faye Hsu spent a decade illustrating for the game/animation industry and is now thrilled to explore the wonderful world of children’s books. Faye lives in San Francisco with her family, where she enjoys composing music on the piano, ice-skating, gardening and playing with her children.

Fermín Solís

Fermín Solís was born in Cácerces, Spain in 1972. He is a self-taught comic artist whose uniquely quirky artwork has appeared in publications in his home country as well as abroad.

Fernando Martín

Fernando is a freelance illustrator from Valencia, Spain. He graduated in Media and Audiovisual Communication. Drawing is what he enjoys the most; it connects him with his childhood when there were no big worries. You can see that in his cheerful illustrations. He works mainly digitally and he likes using limited but colourful palettes.

Feronia Parker-Thomas

Feronia was born and raised in South West England. She studied Illustration at Camberwell College of Art and then taught for a short time. Feronia likes to spend her time drawing and telling stories. She currently lives in Bristol UK, where she is studying for an MA in Graphic Arts. She spends her spare time going for walks and wishing she had a cat.

Fabrizio Di Baldo

Fabrizio Di Baldo lives in Italy. He graduated in 2001 with a degree in fine art and semiotics, before earning a PhD in illustration at the Comics International School and a PhD in graphic design at the European Design Institute. Fabrizio works as an Art Director and illustrator in Rome.

Eve Wersocki Morris

Eve Wersocki Morris grew up in North London and has been making up stories her whole life. Diagnosed with dyslexia aged 12 and called out by a teacher as the ‘worst speller in the class’, she is now the author of two novels for older MG readers, with her debut <i>The Bird Singers</i> now nominated for multiple awards. A standout performer at school events thanks to a background in drama, Eve is also a volunteer with Coran Beanstalk Literary Charity.

Eric Huang

Eric Huang has always been fascinated by legends and lore. As a boy, he was determined to find real-life dragons, so he studied palaeontology at university. Reality didn’t live up to his Jurassic Park dreams, though, and he found himself working as secretary at Disney Publishing, launching a career in children’s books. Eric lives in London with his boyfriend Brian and cat McNulty. He’s a podcaster, writer, and lecturer at City University of London’s Masters in Publishing programme.
