Eric Huang

Eric Huang has always been fascinated by legends and lore. As a boy, he was determined to find real-life dragons, so he studied palaeontology at university. Reality didn’t live up to his Jurassic Park dreams, though, and he found himself working as secretary at Disney Publishing, launching a career in children’s books. Eric lives in London with his boyfriend Brian and cat McNulty. He’s a podcaster, writer, and lecturer at City University of London’s Masters in Publishing programme.

Emma Chinnery

Emma Chinnery is a British children’s author and illustrator. Emma worked for several years as a graphic artist before her passion for children’s books led her to study on the MA Children’s Book Illustration course at the Cambridge School of Art. When she’s not drawing or writing, you’ll find her on a bike, cycling the country lanes of Suffolk.

Emi-Lou May

Emi-Lou May lives in a boys’ boarding school near Oxford, England, with a husband, four children, 65 teenaged boys and a host of lively pets. Emi-Lou previously worked in film and radio and has always loved the art of storytelling in any and every format. Doctorsaurus is her debut picture book.

Elisabetta Stoinich

Elisabetta was born and raised in a small Ligurian seaside village in Italy. The beautiful scenery inspired in Elisabetta a love for magical landscapes and the sea.

Since studying Fine Arts, Elisabetta has worked as a children’s and adult book illustrator. She has also spent time in advertising and in the video game industry. Elisabetta discovered her passion for classic literature whilst reading The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, and books have since become her main source of artistic inspiration. She now lives in Milan.

Elissa Elwick

Elissa Elwick is the illustrator of the FETCH AND STICK series. She writes as well as illustrates and is the author/illustrator of THE PRINCESS AND THE SLEEP STEALER. She conjures up ideas from her colourful desk at the Fleece Station, London. www.elissaelwick.co.uk | @ElissaElwick.

Ella Okstad

Ella lives up north in Trondheim, Norway with her family (husband, three boys and a cat). She loves to drink good coffee while drawing cats, dogs, ballerinas, children (with and without tantrums) and all manner of children’s book characters.

Emi Ordás

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Emi has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. Having illustrated over 300 titles to date, he also plays the role of art director in his own company: Wedoo Studio. Emi now lives near the mountains in Madrid with his wife and children, and works from his home studio.

Emily Fox

Emily Fox graduated from Falmouth University in 2013 with a first class degree in Illustration and has been working as an Illustrator ever since. Her work is colourful and characterful. Emily tends to work digitally but enjoys mixing in traditional elements, like pencil line and printed textures. She enjoys reading stories, but when it comes to her children’s book collection she mostly likes to look at the pictures.

Ella Bailey

Ella Bailey is a freelance illustrator currently living in Devon, in the UK. She specializes in children’s books having illustrated many board, novelty and picture books. Ella works mostly digitally and likes to incorporate lots of texture and limited, lively palettes into her artwork. Some of her favourite things to draw include children, animals and ghosts.

Ellie Patterson

Ellie lives in Brighton and has been penning children’s books since her early twenties (which is quite a long time ago). She works as a senior editor and loves to hang out in coffee shops, sipping oat milk cappuccinos and soaking up inspiration with her beloved mac laptop. Her dog Daisy, a goldendoodle, is usually to be found asleep at her feet. Ellie loves yoga, the sea, chocolate and train travel.
