David Van Buren was born in New York, and currently lives in Ireland with his wife and five children. He has written a newspaper column for the Irish Voice newspaper in New York, as well as a number of poems, songs and children’s stories.

Elizabeth Baguley

Elizabeth Baguley studied English Literature, before going on to train as a teacher. Elizabeth’s books for Little Tiger Press include Meggie Moon, which won the Swiss Labelle Prize 2008 and A Long Way From Home, which was shortlisted for the UKLA Children’s Book Award in the Picturebook category.

Elizabeth Bennett is the author of a wide range of books for children. She also works as a children’s book editor and a bookseller at a lovely independent book store. Elizabeth lives in Connecticut with her teenage daughter and two dogs (one big, one small). Her two grown sons have flown the coop, but they occasionally still need a little help.

Elizabeth Jenner is a writer and editor based in London, who has been working in children’s non-fiction for 12 years. Her novel The Magic Places was published in 2017. She is also a yoga teacher and cat wrangler.

Craig Barr-Green

Craig Barr-Green writes picture books, non-fiction titles and theatre productions for children. He lectures in Children’s Literature at Falmouth University and often performs storytelling shows at festivals. He is a passionate advocate for children’s literacy and neurodivergent representation. He loves music but sadly cannot play a note.

Dr Naira Wilson

Dr Naira Wilson is a clinical psychologist specialising in childhood mental health. Her books are inspired by a desire to help young children manage their emotions and look after their own wellbeing. Naira’s hobbies include sewing and cooking and, more recently, gardening. But her greatest love is her husband and her two children, who keep her inspired every day.

Davina Tijani is a speculative fiction writer for adults and children with a passion for world mythology, which she enjoys incorporating into her writing. She grew up an avid lover of films and books – especially Star Wars, which sparked a lifelong love of storytelling in all its forms. Davina was born in London, United Kingdom where she currently lives.
