Claire Powell

Life for Claire began in a cupboard under the stairs. Not as punishment like Harry Potter – it’s where she went to draw. Before becoming an illustrator, Claire cut her teeth designing for big-hitting brands Nickelodeon, BBC and DreamWorks Animation. She also animated an award winning short film ‘The Scapegoat’. Claire lives and works in London, in a studio just bigger than a cupboard.

Clare Fennell

Clare is a freelance illustrator with 20 years of experience. After working at a greetings card publisher designing and managing for twelve years, Clare decided to take the plunge to go freelance and pursue her passion of illustrating for children. She hasn’t looked back since, and to date has illustrated more than twenty books and many children’s canvasses.

Clover Robin

Clover Robin is a surface pattern designer and illustrator. She grew up in glorious Devon before training and graduating from Leeds College of Art and Design in 2007, followed by a Masters from Central Saint Martins. She delights in nature and all things botanical, inspired by a childhood of woodland walks and countryside rambles. Clover is currently based in Greenwich, London where all of her artwork is lovingly handcrafted and printed.

Christiane Engel

Christiane loves writing and illustrating, especially for children and young people!
She has illustrated over 30 children’s books so far and also works on magazines, advertising, juvenile fiction, and kids’ products. Christiane lives by the sea in England.

Chris Dickason

Chris Dickason spent the majority of his education drawing on his friend’s schoolbooks, and was brought up a diet of Tom and Jerry cartoons, Asterix comics, Swiss chocolates and French sunshine. His illustration style has been described as charming, visually striking and populated with rambunctious characters that are a cleverly crafted mix of an uncomplicated line style, wonky perspectives and conspicuous colour choices.

Craig Barr-Green

Craig Barr-Green writes picture books, non-fiction titles and theatre productions for children. He lectures in Children’s Literature at Falmouth University and often performs storytelling shows at festivals. He is a passionate advocate for children’s literacy and neurodivergent representation. He loves music but sadly cannot play a note.
