Craig Barr-Green writes picture books, non-fiction titles and theatre productions for children. He lectures in Children’s Literature at Falmouth University and often performs storytelling shows at festivals. He is a passionate advocate for children’s literacy and neurodivergent representation. He loves music but sadly cannot play a note.

Dr Naira Wilson

Dr Naira Wilson is a clinical psychologist specialising in childhood mental health. Her books are inspired by a desire to help young children manage their emotions and look after their own wellbeing. Naira’s hobbies include sewing and cooking and, more recently, gardening. But her greatest love is her husband and her two children, who keep her inspired every day.

Davina Tijani

Davina Tijani is a speculative fiction writer for adults and children with a passion for world mythology, which she enjoys incorporating into her writing. She grew up an avid lover of films and books – especially Star Wars, which sparked a lifelong love of storytelling in all its forms. Davina was born in London, United Kingdom where she currently lives.

Cynthia So

Cynthia So was born in Hong Kong and lives in London. They graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Classics in 2016. Their work has appeared in Uncanny, Strange Horizons and Cast of Wonders, among other places. They are also one of the new voices in PROUD, an anthology of LGBTQ+ YA stories, poems and art by LGBTQ+ creators, published by Stripes in March 2019. Claire Freedman lives on the Essex coast close to Southend-on-Sea. She is the author of many books for children, including Who’s For Dinner, Cuddle Bear and Bedtime, Little Ones! When not writing, Claire spends her time sailing and walking in the countryside.

Clare is a former primary school teacher, turned children’s writer, and is a passionate advocate for mental health. She is delighted that her books mean she can continue to inspire children to love language, themselves and the world around them. Clare teaches picture book writing for WriteMentor and City Lit, and enjoys inspiring writers to achieve their dreams. She lives in Devon with her husband and two children.

Bethan Clarke

Bethan Clarke has been a story maker-upper ever since she could write them back to front. This has proven to be a vital outlet for her love of silliness and fondness for puns. Bethan lives near Manchester with her partner, two children, two dogs and a headful of nonsense.

Beth Hamilton

Beth is from the sunny Isle of Wight and works in children’s publishing. She loves windy seaside walks, drinking coffee and daydreaming cool stories (preferably all at once!)
