Tony Neal’s passion for art has led to a blooming career in children’s book illustration. He is currently living in the South Leicestershire countryside. When not working, he enjoys a spot of fishing, playing guitar and hanging out with friends and family.
Tatiana is a Russian illustrator who works all over the world. Despite graduating with a degree in architecture, she discovered that her true passion is illustration. Her main focus is illustrating children’s books, and when she is not drawing, she finds joy in gardening, reading, and exploring the woods with her husband and her two funny dogs.
After several years of working as a graphic designer, Tom Knight found that true happiness lies in drawing pictures at the bottom of the garden for a living. He lives near Colchester, with his wife, Tabby, and their two boys, and can often be found plonking away on stringed instruments when he should be drawing, or drawing when he probably should be doing the washing up.
Steve James has always been a keen doodler and has been fortunate to illustrate a wide variety of greetings cards and children’s books. He lives in Leeds with his partner, Vics, and daughter, Rosie, and loves to get out in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
Stephen lives in a small town in the North of England with his family. He has lots of varied interests from gardening to rock-pooling in the summer with his kids. He went to university in Newcastle, where he planned to study dentistry but instead chose to follow his dreams of becoming a children’s illustrator.
Tim was born in Surrey in 1977, and is a freelance illustrator. His illustration work has been described as “storytelling with whimsical charm, warmth and humour”, and he’d like to think that is pretty true! To date he has illustrated over 50 children’s books, including: ‘The Magic Pet Shop’ and the ‘20 at Bedtime’ series, and ‘This is Me’ by CBeebies star George Webster.
Teresa Bellón was born in Albacete, Spain in 1987. After completing an illustration course in Madrid, she began working for national and international clients and has had several exhibitions of her art. Teresa doesn’t stay at home waiting for inspiration; she sets out to find it by travelling, buying illustrated books and walking around her home town of Madrid.
Steph is an illustrator and character designer, based in the San Francisco Bay area of California. She works in several fields, including publishing, TV & feature animation, toy design and licensing. Her love for art is rivalled only by her fascination with the animal kingdom. She also loves to travel, and next on her bucket list is visiting the Weihnachtsmarkt in Germany!
Steven hails from Cheshire where he spent many a school holiday working in the family pom-pom factory, packing poms and designing new products. Along with illustrating picture books, Steven also designs greeting cards and prints. Steven lives with his partner Jay and his dog in Crouch End where he dunks endless amounts of biscuits in big red spotty cups of tea whilst listening to Radio 2.
