Michael Catchpool

Michael Catchpool has worked in a number of primary schools and now works as an advisor for primary English and drama. He has written several books for Little Tiger Press. Where There’s A Bear, There’s Trouble! was shortlisted for the Stockport Schools’ Book Award 2003. Michael lives in Royston, Hertfordshire.

Michael Coleman has written numerous books for Little Tiger Press, including Ridiculous! and One, Two, Three, Oops!. Michael lives with his family in Portsmouth and is mad on football.

Michael Emmerson has been drawing pictures ever since he could pick up a Burnt Sienna crayon and scribble all over the new wallpaper.

Michelle Harrison

Michelle Harrison was born in Essex. She is the author of novels for children and young adults, most recently the best-selling A PINCH OF MAGIC and its sequel, A SPRINKLE OF SORCERY. Her debut, THIRTEEN TREASURES, won the 2009 Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. She writes full-time and lives with her son and cats. @MHarrison13

Mike Byrne

Mike Byrne grew up near Liverpool. He graduated with a degree in Children’s Book Illustration and now works as a full-time illustrator. He has always loved experimenting within his designs, combining his passions for art and his computer! He lives in Surrey with his wife and two cats where he spends his days creating fantastical characters to bring his books to life.

Miranda Baker

Miranda lives with her family on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor in Devon. She loves stories, nature and books with both.

Moira Butterfield

Moira Butterfield wrote her first book when she was 8 years old; she glued photos of cats in an exercise book and wrote about them, too. Now she is an internationally published author of children’s fiction and non-fiction. She lives in Bath and writes in a small office opposite a sweet shop.

Marion Lindsay

Marion Lindsay grew up drawing pictures and inventing stories so it made sense that she would end up being a children’s book illustrator. She studied at Cambridge School of Art, graduating in 2010 with a master’s degree in children’s book illustration and the Egmont Best New Talent Award. She lives in Cambridge and draws all day long, in her spare time she decorates things that don’t move fast enough to get out of the way.
