Natalie Chivers

Natalie gained a First in Illustration from the University of Plymouth and now lives in Farnham, Surrey with her fiancé. She was shortlisted for the 2006 Booktrust Early Years Award for Best New Illustrator. Natalie works in PR and advertising for a food and cake decoration company. When not working or illustrating children’s books, she enjoys running and indulging her love of nature and natural history.

Nick East

Nick works as a children’s book illustrator from a studio in the beautiful city of York, which he shares with two illustrator friends, a whippet called Alfie and a huge lurcher called Basil. When he’s not illustrating picture books for publishers like Little Tiger Press and Puffin Books, he likes to drink loads of tea, eat cake and laugh a lot!

Nick Ward

Nick Ward lives in a small rural village with his wife Amanda, their two children Jimmy and Mala, and two mad cats Fred and Wilma. Nick works from a studio in an old Victorian school, loves reading and spends many hours amongst dusty documents researching his family history.

Nicky Benson

Nicky Benson was born and raised in Chicago. She studied Communication at Northern Illinois University where she met her husband, Brad. Nothing makes Nicky happier than spending time with family and friends, rummaging through a flea market, and cuddling in a book nook with her son, Drew. She now lives in St Charles, not far from her hometown of Chicago.

Natalie Denny

Natalie graduated from The Open University with an open degree which incorporated creative writing, and was runner up in Writing on the Wall’s ‘Pulp Idol’ 2019 competition. She is a writer, activist, tutor and freelance EDI Consultant for Anthony Walker Foundation as well as the Director of Skywriters, an award winning creative education social enterprise that supports individuals, communities and businesses. Natalie’s interests include reading, activism, travelling, live entertainment, and writing poetry and prose.

Nick Schon

Nick Schon was born in London and now lives in Luton with his wife, three children and five lazy cats. He has worked as an art director at an advertising agency and now illustrates full time.

Nicola Anderson

Nicola works from her home studio crafting imaginary worlds with her Wacom wand whilst her two dogs fight for her lap.
She has been illustrating since she could hold a crayon in her hand, but professionally since 2001 when she graduated with a degree in Graphic Design.
Prior to setting up on her own Nicola spent over a decade working with digital agencies as lead creative in illustration, design and animation.

Natalie Sirett

Natalie Sirett is an internationally exhibited, multimedia artist, interested in us, our icons, our stories. Her work has often explored issues of body image culture and the growing pains of adolescence. WHEN SHADOWS FALL is a project shared with Sita Brahmachari over many years and she is delighted that it has come to fruition. Natalie lives and works in London.
