Anu Adebogun

Anu Adebogun is a British-Nigerian author, scholar and award-winning youth practitioner. 

With ten years’ experience across the youth and community sector, Anu has partnered with leading national organisations to promote the safety and wellbeing of young people and improve their access to education. She authored the bestselling book ‘Black and Brave History: 30 Sheroes Who Shook Britain’ to celebrate the revolutionary impact of Black female presence through colourful, inspiring biography. Anu holds a first-class Law degree and completed an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford. Presently, she continues her PhD studies at Oxford where she explores parent-child relationships and safety at home. 

Anna Süßbauer

Anna Süßbauer always loved drawing and reading. She became a freelance illustrator in 2016 driven by her passion for graphic design, clear structures and bright colours. Her work includes illustrations for picture books, board books, editorial illustrations and it’s inspired by a quirky sense of humour and her love for all kinds of animals, especially dogs.

<b>Anna Simeone </b>has made her lifelong passion her profession over the past decade. She works from her home studio in northern Poland, surrounded by her collection of books and trinkets. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading, gardening and walking with her dog Leo.

Annabelle Sami

Annabelle Sami is a writer and performer. She grew up next to the sea on the south coast of the UK and then moved to London, where she now lives. She studied English Literature and Drama and undertook an MA in English Literature at Queen Mary University. When she isn’t writing she enjoys playing saxophone in a band with her friends, performing live art and swimming in the sea.

Barbara Röttgen

Barbara has been working with children and adults with special needs for many years. She lives in Cologne with her husband and two children. She loves dancing, decorating her home, and having fun with her friends. She would like to live by the sea some day. A Friend Like You is her first book.

Barry Hutchison was born and raised in the Highlands of Scotland. He was just eight years old when he decided he wanted to become a writer and 17 when he sold his first piece of work. His work includes the Invisible Fiends series for HarperCollins and

for Nosy Crow. He also writes for TV. Barry lives in Fort William with his partner and their two children.

Barry Timms

Barry Timms is an award-winning storyteller who enjoys the way books bring people together. He grew up in the rugged Cornish landscape but now lives by a South London water tower and is a city boy at heart. Barry can often be found with pencil in hand, writing or drawing or both. Barry likes road-trip movies, ghost trains and exploring forgotten side streets.
