Yoojin Um
Yoojin Um loved drawing from an early age. As a shy child, who liked to find unusual places to hide, she enjoyed doodling and creating stories. As she grew up, Yoojin began to realise that pictures can communicate in ways that words cannot and decided that she wanted to become a professional illustrator. Yoojin worked as a graphic designer before pursuing her dream of illustrating children’s books.
Villetta Craven
Villetta has spent many years writing and editing children's books, from activity books to complex novelty. She lives in London, home of her beloved football team, and loves spending time with her little boy having tickling competitions and making up nonsense words. She also spends as much time as possible in Italy, where she's trying to visit every region to figure out which is her favourite.
Vincent Batignole
Having been raised on a diet of French comics, colourful anime and his grandparents' collection of true crime books, Vincent has a penchant for the cute, absurd and creepy. His professional journey began in 2005 with the GloomCookie series by Serena Valentino. Since then, he's been illustrating and writing for various international clients while earning a Master's Degree in cinema history and film analysis. Vincent now lives in Paris, surrounded by what's easily one of the biggest collections of manga drawn by CLAMP.
Wendy J Warren
From a young age Wendy has drawn, however in her early years she always drew people wearing ballet shoes as she couldn't do feet very well. Wendy's colourful illustrations are inspired by the people, quirky architecture and natural landscape around her, infusing her work with a vibrant and whimsical quality that captures the imagination.
Wendy Meddour

Wendy Meddour was brought up in the seaside town of Aberystwyth. She loved the sea, but she loved books even more, so she left the seaside to study. After getting her doctorate, Wendy went to teach English Literature at Oxford University. But now she’s got the best of both worlds. She lectures, writes and reads her books at a university near the seaside in Devon.
