Huw Lewis Jones has voyaged many times to Antarctica, meeting all kinds of penguins. He is now a professor at Falmouth University teaching natural history and other creative things. Huw has written books about photography, mountains, and maps, but these days his stories are mostly about annoying apples and befuddled badgers. He lives in Cornwall.

Elizabeth Wathuti
Elizabeth Wathuti O.G.W is a multi-award-winning Kenyan environmentalist and globally recognized young climate leader with a Head of State Commendation in the order of the Grand Warrior for her work and leadership in environmental conservation (O.G.W). She is the visionary Founder and CEO of the Green Generation Initiative, an action-driven organization nurturing an environmentally conscious citizenry through locally led environmental restoration – growing millions of trees in 605 schools across Kenya and with communities, climate education and community resilience projects.
Emma Simpson
Before becoming a full-time author-illustrator, Emma Simpson worked in the special education sector for many years. This time still informs the work she makes today. She is also greatly inspired by nature and loves to walk in the beautiful Bavarian Alps that surround Munich, where she currently lives.
David Dean
David Dean has illustrated around 140 covers over the course of 21 years, having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA in Illustration and an MA in Communication Design. Known for his exotic and colourful work, David works in a room surrounded by books from many different cultures, from which he finds inspiration.
Ben Sanders

Ben Sanders hasn’t stopped drawing since he was a kid. Decades later he still draws . . . and he’s still a kid. Ben lived in the High Andes of Bolivia for several years but his studio can now be found somewhere in Australia. He really dislikes beetroot, so please don’t offer him any.
Grace Habib

Grace Habib started out at a greeting card company as a kids card designer. Soon after, she found her passion as a children’s illustrator. In her free time she enjoys nature parks, visiting local bakeries, and coffee shops. Her favorite baked good is a chocolate croissant.
