Kate Daubney

Kate Daubney was born in sunny North Devon, where she grew up on a diet of Devonshire cream teas and Cornish pasties. Drawing, painting and writing stories have always been her favourite pastimes, and as a child she spent many weekends at the beach with a sketchbook creating quirky characters. Since graduating from the University College Falmouth in 2009, she has worked full-time as an illustrator. Kate’s love of animals and nature inspire her bright, colourful and quirky illustrations.

Kate McLelland

Kate McLelland grew up in the North East of England before moving to London to gain a BA Hons in Theatre Design. After completing her degree in London she moved to Edinburgh, where she gained an MFA in Illustration with Distinction at Edinburgh College of Art. Kate now lives with her family in Edinburgh, where she works from home on books, printmaking and making pictures!

Kate Pankhurst

Kate Pankhurst has an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the University of Central Lancashire and was the highest placed undergraduate in the Macmillan Prize for Picture Book Illustration. She has written her own series, Mariella Mystery Investigates. She now lives in Leeds with her partner and two house rabbits!

Kathryn Durst

Kathryn Durst loves working on children’s entertainment, publications, and media – especially children’s books and television series. She is currently based out of Toronto, Canada.

Kathryn Selbert

Kathryn Selbert is a children’s author and illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She currently lives in Connecticut, USA, with her French bulldog, Margot.

Katie Abey

Katie Abey provides illustrative doses of happiness, motivation, sarcasm and general randomness. Her work usually features puns and crazy animals. She lives in Derbyshire.

Katie Hickey

Katie is a freelance illustrator who graduated from Falmouth University in beautiful (and slightly soggy) Cornwall, England. Katie takes inspiration from her travels and surroundings to create characterful and atmospheric images. She uses a combination of hand-rendered print processes and digital techniques to create her work.

Katie Rewse

Katie Rewse graduated with a Masters Degree in Illustration from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2017. Whilst studying, Katie was longlisted in the House of Illustration and Folio Society Book Competition, and shortlisted for the Batsford Prize. She continues to live and work in Bournemouth. When she is not busy drawing, Katie enjoys exploring the coast with her husband in their camper van.

Katie Saunders

Katie Saunders knew she wanted to be an illustrator when she had a picture published in Twinkie Magazine at the age of five. Katie worked as a teacher before becoming a full-time illustrator. She enjoys working with bright colours and experimenting with textures to create cute characters that children will love. Katie’s book, Touch and Explore: Little Frog, for Caterpillar Books was shortlisted for the 2012 Sheffield Children’s Book Award in the Baby Book Award section.
