Leah Osakwe

Leah Osakwe is the author of the Little Voices series. She’s always writing – whether that be for apps and digital products or fiction for children. She lives in Essex, UK.

Lila Cruz

Lila Cruz is an illustrator, comic book artist and journalist. She puts together all these professions to make books and tell stories. Originally from Salvador, Bahia, Lila now lives in São Paulo, Brazil.

Lee Wildish

Lee Wildish lives in Lancashire and has been illustrating from a very young age. He loves illustrating children’s books and thinks there’s nothing better than seeing people laughing at a book he’s illustrated.

Leo Hartas

Leo Hartas has been a professional illustrator for over 30 years and started drawing from the moment he could hold a pencil. He uses a range of mediums including traditional ink, line and watercolour, acrylics, digital, DTP and 3D. Leo loves to create highly imaginative fiction and illuminating non-fiction, both with warmth and humour.

Lili la Baleine

Lili la Baleine is a former school teacher who began self-taught illustration in 2009. Soon, she was spotted by the publishing industry and decided to fully dedicate herself to children’s book illustration. She lives in France with her family, with whom she shares a passion for chocolate and travels.

Laura Dockrill

Laura Dockrill is an award-winning writer from Brixton, South London. She is the author of picture books <i>Angry Cookie</i>, <i>The Lipstick</i> and, most recently, <i>Grey</i>, illustrated by Lauren Child. Her first book for children, <i>Darcy Burdock</i>, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Book of The Year Prize and the Carnegie Medal, and her young adult novel <i>Big Bones</i> was shortlisted for the YA Book Prize 2018 and earned her plaudits like ‘Top 10 Literary Talent’ from <i>The Times</i> newspaper and ‘Top 20 Hot Faces to Watch’ from <i>Elle</i> magazine.
