
Charlotte Pepper grew up and completed a surface pattern design degree in sunny Staffordshire. She worked in-house for a greetings cards publishing company for 19 years before taking the plunge to go freelance. Her favourite things to draw are characters, birds and anything nature-based, but she doesn’t like drawing shoes!
Ana Sender was born in Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain. As a child, she loved to draw, write, and imagine all kinds of stories. Then she grew up (although just a little bit) and studied painting and illustration at Escola Massana in Barcelona. Her dreams have always played an important role in her work; she lives a second life there that she tries to remember when she wakes up. She likes werewolves, surrealism, and swampy places.

Anjan Sarkar is a British illustrator based in South Yorkshire. He graduated with a degree in Illustration with Animation from Manchester Metropolitan University. Since focusing on children’s illustration in 2015, he has created artwork for over 20 books. @LovelyLovelyJam
Originally from Anglesey in North Wales, Anna lives in sunny Brighton with her husband and baby daughter. She works from her home studio, which means she’s able to consume plenty of strong coffee and chocolate biscuits without fear of being judged!
Anna graduated from Liverpool Art School with a degree in Graphic Arts and has since worked as an in-house illustrator/designer for a greeting card company before becoming a freelance illustrator in 2008.
After graduating as an animation director from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, Barbara began working as an art director, character & background designer for a TV series and also a few short films. She likes to go adventuring with lots of ideas in her head and a lot of pens in her pocket.

Ana Sanfelippo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is an illustrator, graphic and pattern designer, letter artist, and cats’ friend. She has published books internationally.
Ana now lives in Valencia, Spain. But no matter where she is, illustration is a passion and a way of living that means she wakes up happy everyday with her family that fill her with love and support.

Anders Frang is a Danish illustrator with a passion for illustrating picture books. He seeks inspiration in many forms of art, but also in playing music, dog sitting and cycling trips. He is currently based in Copenhagen after spending several years in Edinburgh, and holds an MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

Ana Zaja Petrak worked for many years in the graphic design industry before deciding to return to drawing, which has always been her first love. She is inspired by simplicity, music and nature. When not creating in her studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and a Chihuahua called Victoria.

Anna Doherty is a Scottish illustrator-author from Edinburgh, based in Cambridge. She illustrates all sorts of things, from science communication to window painting to cards, but is happiest when working on children’s books. She loves mustard yellow, popcorn and dogs.
