Rebecca Harry studied design/illustration in Exeter and began her career drawing greetings cards. She has illustrated several books including the Ruby Duckling picture books with Jonathan Emmett. She lives in Cardiff with her two children.

Renia Metallinou

Renia Metallinou is an illustrator, mum, wife and chocolate addict. Before becoming a full-time illustrator, Renia studied graphic design and worked for several magazines and newspapers. Renia currently lives with her husband and their family in a small house by the sea, a few miles away from Athens, Greece.

Richard Merritt

Richard is a London born illustrator with over 15 years experience as an artist, and formerly as an agent, helping to nurture many other talented illustrators. From his first commission with The Times newspaper, he hasn’t looked back! His body of work includes editorial, packaging design, and games; as well as children’s publishing, cover design, fashion and costume drawing for blockbuster films such as Lincoln, Jurassic World, The BFG and The Witches.

Richard Smythe

Richard lives near Tunbridge Wells with his wife and dog. He loves drawing and has been scribbling away since he was a tiny boy – often covering his sister’s homework with his ‘masterpieces’, much to her annoyance. Richard loves to tell stories with his illustrations, especially if they involve animals and silly things.

Richard Watson

Richard Watson grew up in a small village in North Lincolnshire. He studied illustration at Lincoln University School of Art and Design, and began working as an illustrator soon after leaving University in 2003. Richard uses a range of techniques to produce artwork mixing traditional drawing and painting with collage and mixed media. He also loves visiting galleries, watching films, and listening to music.

Róisín Hahessy

Róisín has always had a great passion for drawing and illustration. After graduating from animation college in Dublin, she spent a number of years working in television graphics. In 2015, she relocated to a city in southern Brazil and has been able to focus a lot more on drawing and illustration, which is what makes her happiest.

Rachael Davis

Rachael Davis is a mixed-raced Black-British children’s author who loves the magic of getting lost in a good book. She writes inclusive books for children of all ages, both fiction and non-fiction. Her debut picture book, ‘I am NOT a Prince!’, illustrated by Beatrix Hatcher, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize.
