Ragnhild was born in Denmark, into a huge and very close family, but soon found her way across the North Sea to her adopted country, England, where she lives with her husband, cats and a large boisterous Old English Sheepdog.

Randy was born in the Philippines and raised in the Midwest. He is the author of AFTER THE SHOT DROPS , AN INFINITE NUMBER OF PARALLEL UNIVERSES and PATRON SAINTS OF NOTHING, which was shortlisted for the CILIP Carnegie Medal 2020. He earned his BA in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Master’s Degree in Language and Literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He currently teaches English and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Phil Alderson became an illustrator after his early aspirations to be a cool musician dwindled due to the premature loss of his hair in his twenties. Luckily, he was very good at drawing pictures, so he has enjoyed a more successful career in illustration. Phil now revels in being a totally uncool dad to his young daughter and no.1 fan.

Prisca is a child of the disco era – so dancing queens and grooving cats are right up her street. She sees the world of illustration as a dessert trolley laden with your favourite things. Why not taste everything – you can always go to the dentist afterwards. After studying Applied Art at school, she enrolled in a film studies degree and embarked on an adventure into the world of animation. She is still living the adventure, as the author and artistic director of the animated series ‘Grosha and Mr B’.
When she was young, Prisca adored the craft craze, Scoubidou. It’s that same simple creativity that gives her such joy now that she’s creating books for children.
Rebecca Harry studied design/illustration in Exeter and began her career drawing greetings cards. She has illustrated several books including the Ruby Duckling picture books with Jonathan Emmett. She lives in Cardiff with her two children.
Phùng Nguyên Quang is an illustrator – picture book author based in Saigon, Vietnam. He creates his stunning artwork using a mix of watercolour, acrylic and digital. His works are inspired by the folk culture of Vietnam and Asia.
Nikolas Ilic is an Emmy Award winning artist working in both animation and children's books. Originally from Toronto Canada, he now resides in sunny Los Angeles with his wife, son and two dogs. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, woodworking and gardening.
