Sable Hamilton

Sable Hamilton is the pen name for Jenny Oldfield, author of a wide range of books for children and young adults – including internationally successful mini series, Beautiful Dead and Dark Angel. With Stardust Stables, she has returned to one of her favourite subjects – the glamour, the thrills and the trials of working with horses!

Sally J. Morgan

Sally Morgan has written more than twenty books for children on subjects including history, science and emojis. Sally loves writing and thinks it is the best job in the whole wide world. Sally lives in Minnesota, USA with her husband and two children.

Sam Caldwell

Sam Caldwell is an illustrator based in Glasgow where he lives with his wife and two cats: Tonks and Luna. Sam loves inventing characters and creating images packed full of detail, texture and colour. He is passionate about animals and nature, and – when not drawing – can often be found exploring the Scottish Highlands.

Richard Smythe

Richard lives near Tunbridge Wells with his wife and dog. He loves drawing and has been scribbling away since he was a tiny boy – often covering his sister’s homework with his ‘masterpieces’, much to her annoyance. Richard loves to tell stories with his illustrations, especially if they involve animals and silly things.

Ryan Wheatcroft

Ryan studied illustration at the University of Lincoln, England and has worked as an illustrator for the last couple of years since graduating.
He lives on the outskirts of the very hilly city of Sheffield, England, with his family and pets and spends most of his time making pictures for books and magazines.

Samantha Meredith

Samantha Meredith graduated from Loughborough University in 2001 with a BA(Hons) in Illustration. She currently works from a little house in North London, drawing pictures all day whilst drinking tea and wearing panda slippers. She spends most of her time designing and illustrating children’s books. She also occasionally works in-house for various studios… but leaves the pandas at home.

Sanja Rešček

Sanja Rešček lives in Zagreb, where she studied graphic design and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. She has illustrated picture books for Random House, Scholastic, Campbell and many other publishers, and she has also illustrated cards for UNICEF. When she is not illustrating, she enjoys painting and designing children’s furniture.
