Tracey Corderoy lives in the Cotswolds with her family and a host of lively, lovely pets. Once a trained primary school teacher, Tracey is now an award-winning writer. She loves visiting schools, libraries and bookshops, bringing her stories to life with bright, engaging events, and inspiring children to want to be writers too!

Tracy Darnton

Tracy Darnton is the author of Waterstones Children’s Book Prize-shortlisted THE TRUTH ABOUT LIES. Having previously worked as a solicitor, Tracy graduated with Distinction from the Bath Spa MA Writing for Young People in 2016. She won the Stripes YA Short Story Prize, run in partnership with The Bookseller’s YA Book Prize. Tracy lives in Bath with her husband and two sons.

Tess Duffin

Tess Duffin is an illustrator who loves silliness, play and fun! Growing up on their family's farm in rural Leicestershire, Tess went on to study Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Studying their BA, Tess began to experiment with more analogue materials, from charcoal to ceramics and discovering their love of combining digital and analogue processes. Tess loves to find elements of storytelling in the everyday, whether working on children's illustration, animation or editorially. Tess' work has also been long-listed for the AOI World Illustration Award 2023.

Sue Mongredien

Sue Mongredien has written over one hundred books, including the Oliver Moon and The Secret Mermaid series. She has also written the Kitten Club series for Stripes Publishing. Sue lives in Bath with her husband and three children.

Suzanne Chiew

When not immersed in children’s books, Suzanne Chiew loves painting, playing the piano and long walks on the beach.

Suzy Senior

Suzy Senior lives and works at the top of a huge hill in Sheffield. She lives with her family, a small gang of tropical fish and quite a lot of books.

She loves writing picture books, making things rhyme and eating jaffa cakes – ideally all at the same time!

Swapna Haddow

Swapna’s debut novel, DAVE PIGEON, was selected for the Guardian’s Best New Children’s Books 2016 and shortlisted for the Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Award 2016. Swapna lives in New Zealand with her son, her husband and Archie the mini schnauzer.
