Stephanie Shaw

Stephanie lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the United States in Oregon. Drawing from the fields and forests of the area, she loves creating lyrical stories for the nursery. She is most influenced in her writing by having had parents who wisely filled her life with books. It is in their honor that she now writes stories for other parents to share with little ones.

Pat Hegarty

Pat began working in children’s publishing more years ago than she cares to remember and is now Editorial Director at Caterpillar Books. As an editor she has worked on titles ranging from atlases to animal pop-ups, craft kits to crazy mazes and sticker books to secret diaries.

Libby Walden

Editor at Caterpillar Books and book review blogger at Through the Wardrobe, Libby’s days are filled with writing, reading and dreaming up new books.

Karen McCombie

Karen McCombie began her writing career working as a journalist on teenage girls’ magazines. It is this, alongside her collection of childhood diaries and a bad habit of listening to conversations on buses when school is coming out, which have inspired her quirky humour and endearing characters. She has written over 80 books, and her series Ally’s World for Scholastic sold over 200,000 copies. Her hobbies include scribbling random observations in her notebooks, brushing cat hair from the keyboard of her laptop and posting nonsense on Instagram. She lives in Crouch End, London.
