
Ana Zaja Petrak worked for many years in the graphic design industry before deciding to return to drawing, which has always been her first love. She is inspired by simplicity, music and nature. When not creating in her studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and a Chihuahua called Victoria.
Andy Robb was born in Devon. Once he realized that he was too short to be taken seriously as a costumed hero, he decided to spend as much time as he could playing make-believe. After training as an actor, he went on to appear in plays, TV dramas and films. Andy lives in a house boat on the Thames.
Angela McAllister has written over thirty children’s books. She lives in Hampshire with her husband and their two children, who are often the inspiration for her stories.

Angela Woolfe decided to become an author aged 4 after writing a mind-blowing four-line poem called The Postman Is Very Good. She also writes books for older children and has occasionally – she’s still not quite sure why – written for grown-ups too. She lives in London with one husband and one daughter.

Angie Morgan has been writing and illustrating books for children since 2010. She lives in Bath with her husband and (currently) four chickens and likes gardening, car karaoke, frothy coffee and oranges. She also collects bright coloured notebooks which she carries everywhere as she never knows when inspiration will strike.
Award-winning author Anita Ganeri has written over 500 books for children including the best-selling HORRIBLE GEOGRAPHY series. Anita was born in India but moved to England when she was very young. After university, she spent many years working for publishers both as an editor and a foreign rights manager. Anita now lives in Yorkshire, with her husband, children and rescued greyhounds.
Ann Meek lives in Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire, where she works as a Learning Support Assistant at a primary school. I’M SPECIAL, I’M ME! won the Little Tiger Press New Author Prize 2003.

Anna is a writer and editor of children’s books who has adapted several fairytales for the Fairytale Classics series. She lives in London with her husband, her collection of fluffy hippos, her books, and a large supply of chocolate. If she were a fairytale character, she would probably be the trombone player from the Fairytale Classics title,

Anna Doherty is a Scottish illustrator-author from Edinburgh, based in Cambridge. She illustrates all sorts of things, from science communication to window painting to cards, but is happiest when working on children’s books. She loves mustard yellow, popcorn and dogs.
