David Semple

David Semple was born in the North East of England in the early 70s. After studying illustration, he enjoyed a stint working in the TV and Film industry in London painting latex puppets & prosthetics! Since then, a pencil has never been far from his grasp and he has designed and illustrated characters for an impressive range of clients across the globe. He lives in York with his designer wife Kate, their three children, and Olive the dog.

Dawn Cooper

Dawn Cooper is an illustrator based in a leafy suburb of Bristol. Dawn graduated from Bath School of Art & Design with a first class degree in Graphic Communication, and has rarely been apart from her pens and paper since. In the rare moments when she’s not drawing, Dawn likes nothing more than a long, rewarding walk with her camera.

Dawn Lo

Born in Hong Kong, Dawn Lo is an illustrator currently based in Vancouver, the unceded land of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Her work has appeared in picture books, stationery, greeting cards, public art installations, murals and more! Most of her work is inspired by little, everyday moments and personal multicultural experiences. When she is not drawing at her home studio, she works at the public library where she can surround herself with more books.

Davina Tijani

Davina Tijani is a speculative fiction writer for adults and children with a passion for world mythology, which she enjoys incorporating into her writing. She grew up an avid lover of films and books – especially Star Wars, which sparked a lifelong love of storytelling in all its forms. Davina was born in London, United Kingdom where she currently lives.

Darren Chetty

Darren Chetty is a Welsh Indian South African Dutch Londoner. He teaches in primary schools and at university and writes for people of all ages. He loves football and music and collects children's books, snow globes and toy robots.

David Dean

David Dean has illustrated around 140 covers over the course of 21 years, having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA in Illustration and an MA in Communication Design. Known for his exotic and colourful work, David works in a room surrounded by books from many different cultures, from which he finds inspiration.

Craig Barr-Green

Craig Barr-Green writes picture books, non-fiction titles and theatre productions for children. He lectures in Children’s Literature at Falmouth University and often performs storytelling shows at festivals. He is a passionate advocate for children’s literacy and neurodivergent representation. He loves music but sadly cannot play a note.

Corey Egbert

Corey Egbert is an illustrator based in Virginia. He believes in creating imaginative and hopeful art that empowers young people to make their world better. He lives with his wife, son, and three cats in an old brick house in the Shenandoah Valley.
