Melissa was born in Melbourne, Australia and worked as an editor, high school teacher and a Middle Eastern tour guide before becoming an author. Her debut YA novel, Life in Outer Space, was the winner of the 2013 Ampersand Project. Her second YA novel, The Incredible Adventures of Cinnamon Girl won the IBBY Australia’s Ena Noel award and was shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year for Older Readers. Melissa lives in Melbourne with her cheeky spoodle, Hugo.
Luke graduated with a BA in Illustration from Kingston University, and has made a living telling stories through pictures ever since. Originally working in traditional animation for TV and advertising (Picasso Pictures, MTV) he moved through web animation into interactivity and games, working for ten years as in-house Illustrator and Concept Artist at Playstation’s London Studio. He is currently a full-time Illustrator.

Linda Tordoff is a designer and illustrator. She graduated from Staffordshire University in 2001 with a first class degree in surface pattern design. After graduating she worked in-house for a greetings card company and then freelance for clients including Paperchase, Land of Nod, Mollie Makes, Abacus Cards, Woodmansterne plus many more. Linda can usually be found with a cup of tea, in her studio at home, where she lives with her three children, a rescue dog and a cat!
Lirios Bou didn’t always know she wanted to be an illustrator, actually she wanted to be many things: teacher, journalist, photographer, writer… But finally, drawing was the most fun option! She studied Illustration, Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Arts Education. She started drawing professionally in 2014 and since then, her drawings have been used in educational books, magazines, and children’s books. She lives in Valencia and shares her studio with Blai, her adorable/crazy dog.
