Honie Beam

Honie Beam was once let loose in a library and never looked back. In pursuit of her childhood goals to become an artist, an author and a smoothie maker, she studied Illustration and Sequential Art at Maryland Institute College of Art. Now based in Greenville, South Carolina Honie spends her free time drinking (a lot) of coffee, playing (badly) the mandolin, and doodling (on important documents) dragons. Her work is inspired by the countless books she consumed as a child and a desire to spark that same passion in others.

Jannie Ho

Jannie Ho loves illustrating books for kids, and sometimes she writes them too. She lives in the greater Boston area with her family and a pet fish, Sir Bubbles. In her free time, she loves drawing herself as a chicken in comics.

Hettie Cox

Hettie Cox originally hails from North London where she spends time with her family, two bunnies and cat Roxie. When she’s not researching fun facts for children’s books or looking over artwork, she’s usually curled up with a cup of tea watching an animated movie (or three!) or practising her singing.

Harry Woodgate

Harry Woodgate is an award-winning illustrator who has been drawing for as long as they can remember. Apart from illustration, Harry loves travelling to new places, walking their dogs in the countryside, baking cakes and drinking far too many hot chocolates.

Helen Poole

Helen Poole wanted to be a children’s book illustrator from as early as she can remember. Since graduating with a BA Hons in Illustration she has worked both as a designer and illustrator. Her favourite aspect of illustration is character development and she loves creating fun, whimsical worlds with bright, vibrant colours. She keeps her sketchbook with her at all times because inspiration often strikes in the unlikeliest of places!

Harriet Lynas

Harriet Lynas is a children’s book illustrator living in Cambridge with her husband and their son. As a child, she was a big fan of Studio Ghibli animations and later she developed a taste for mid-century style illustrations. Harriet’s inspiration comes from random things like marvellous fossils or a cone of pistachio gelato on a hot summer day.

Hannah Abbo

Hannah Abbo is a self-taught, award-winning illustrator from Brighton, UK. She currently lives with her partner, child and (slightly) overweight cat in Lisbon, Portugal. When she’s not drawing she loves making ceramics in a local studio, visiting the botanical gardens and rollerblading.
