Kate Ware

Originally from Mid Wales, Kate Ware designs, illustrates and occasionally writes children’s books from her studio in North Herefordshire, where she lives with her family. She loves gardening, cooking and going for walks with Pickle the pug. She also has a large array of chickens and 4 pet lambs called Cookie, Peggy, Rose and Simple.

Kathryn Smith

Kathryn Smith lives in the historic Georgian city of Bath with her paper engineer husband, two children and numerous animals. She has worked as an editor and writer of children’s books for over 25 years and still loves what she does!

Kathryn White

Kathryn White works for HMP Service in Education and often holds lively, book-related events
in schools, libraries, and at festivals. Born in Bradford-Upon-Avon, she now lives with her
husband in Wells. They have five children and two cats, Elfin and Napoleon.

Kathryn Durst

Kathryn Durst loves working on children’s entertainment, publications, and media – especially children’s books and television series. She is currently based out of Toronto, Canada.

Katie Abey

Katie Abey provides illustrative doses of happiness, motivation, sarcasm and general randomness. Her work usually features puns and crazy animals. She lives in Derbyshire.

Katie Hickey

Katie is a freelance illustrator who graduated from Falmouth University in beautiful (and slightly soggy) Cornwall, England. Katie takes inspiration from her travels and surroundings to create characterful and atmospheric images. She uses a combination of hand-rendered print processes and digital techniques to create her work.

Katie Rewse

Katie Rewse graduated with a Masters Degree in Illustration from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2017. Whilst studying, Katie was longlisted in the House of Illustration and Folio Society Book Competition, and shortlisted for the Batsford Prize. She continues to live and work in Bournemouth. When she is not busy drawing, Katie enjoys exploring the coast with her husband in their camper van.

Katie Saunders

Katie Saunders knew she wanted to be an illustrator when she had a picture published in Twinkie Magazine at the age of five. Katie worked as a teacher before becoming a full-time illustrator. She enjoys working with bright colours and experimenting with textures to create cute characters that children will love. Katie’s book, Touch and Explore: Little Frog, for Caterpillar Books was shortlisted for the 2012 Sheffield Children’s Book Award in the Baby Book Award section.
