Our BAME YA anthology, A Change Is Gonna Come, is out now - and we've been blown away by the reception it has received. Featuring top Young Adult authors and introducing a host of exciting new voices, this anthology of stories and poetry from BAME writers on the theme of change is a long-overdue addition to the YA scene. Contributors include Tanya Byrne, Inua Ellams, Catherine Johnson, Patrice Lawrence, Ayisha Malik, Irfan Master, Musa Okwonga and Nikesh Shukla.
Importantly, the anthology also introduces four new voices in YA fiction: Mary Bello, Aisha Bushby, Yasmin Rahman and Phoebe Roy.
Stripes has never wanted this to be the end of the way we are changing our fiction, and as such we are thrilled to open submissions throughout September exclusively to BAME writers of Middle Grade, Teen and YA fiction.
Our next open submission periods are:
January 2018 – details to be confirmed
May 2018 – details to be confirmed
