Whiteout is my first book, and it tells the story of a group of sixth form students who visit the fictional ski resort of Kaldgellan, deep in the Austrian Alps. But when the worst storm in decades hits and they find themselves cut out off from the valley far below, they quickly realise that something else lurks out amongst the blizzard, something that has been waiting years to hunt and kill and feed.

We are thrilled to announce that in March 2019, Stripes will publish PROUD, an anthology of short stories and poetry for young adults written by LGBTQ+ authors. Author and activist Juno Dawson will curate the anthology and write the foreword. Contributors will include established writers: Dean Atta, Fox Benwell, Caroline Bird, Tanya Byrne, Moïra Fowley-Doyle, Simon James Green, David Levithan, and Jess Vallance, alongside as yet undiscovered new talents.

We are thrilled to announce that in August 2017, Stripes will publish A Change Is Gonna Come, an anthology of short stories and poetry for young adults written by authors from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds. Contributors will include a wealth of established writers: Tanya Byrne, Inua Ellams, Catherine Johnson, Patrice Lawrence, Ayisha Malik, Irfan Master, Nikesh Shukla and Lemn Sissay. The cover will be illustrated by Lucy Banaji.
